LoneAlpha operates the Orvo mobile application, a personal document vault for storing and organizing ID cards, financial documents, certificates, insurance policies, and other important paperwork. Your privacy is a priority. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app. Orvo does not require account creation or store your personal files on our servers.
Your onboarding profile (Name and Gender) and the documents you upload into Orvo — which may include ID cards, financial records, certificates, insurance policies, or other personal documents — are stored locally on your own device. LoneAlpha does not host, view, or maintain a database of your documents.
Your document is routed through a lightweight backend function we operate solely to relay the file to the Google Gemini API and return the extracted result to your device. This backend does not write your document to a database, disk, or log — it is processed transiently in memory for the duration of that single request and is not retained by us afterward.
To automatically detect what kind of document you've uploaded (for example an ID card, bank statement, insurance policy, or certificate) and suggest a category and file name, Orvo securely transmits the document file itself — including scanned or photographed pages — to the Google Gemini API for processing. The app shows an in-app notice before this happens the first time, and processing only occurs after you agree to it.
We currently use Gemini's standard (unpaid) API tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, submitted content may be used by Google to improve their products, including limited human review, unless you have opted out of that at the account level. We do not control this beyond selecting the API tier, and we are working toward moving this processing to a paid tier that contractually excludes your content from being used to improve Google's models.
See the Google AI Terms of Service for full details. Because of this, we advise against uploading documents containing especially sensitive identifiers you are not comfortable sharing with a third-party AI provider.
Orvo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect pseudonymous identifiers (like your Device Advertising ID) to serve relevant, non-personalized or personalized ads depending on your device settings. This is separate from, and unrelated to, the document data described above — AdMob does not have access to your uploaded documents.
We do not host your personal data. All your profile parameters and document folders are stored locally on your own phone. They are never uploaded to a corporate cloud or shared with LoneAlpha.
Server-side processing is transient. When a document is sent for AI classification, our backend relay does not retain, log, or store the file at any point — it exists only in memory for the duration of that single request before being discarded.
delete_sweep How to delete your data:
Simply uninstall the Orvo app from your device. When you delete the app, your phone automatically wipes the local storage sandbox where your profile and documents were kept. This action is permanent and cannot be undone by us.
Note on Email Privacy: If you have emailed our support team (e.g., to join our closed testing track) and want us to permanently delete our email conversation from our records, please request this at lonealphano1@gmail.com. We will clear those records within 30 days.
